Shalina Xufang Cao

Shalina Xufang Cao is an award-winning journalist and TV reporter with over eight years of experience in political reporting, feature storytelling, and documentary filmmaking. She recently earned a Master of Arts in Political Journalism from the Columbia Journalism School, where her work focused on Chinese and U.S. politics, international affairs, and business reporting. In 2025, she received the Jean Anderson Award (Local Honorable Mention) for the best local feature story at Columbia. She is also a recipient of the Murray G. and Beatrice H. Sherman Scholarship, awarded for excellence in journalism.
