As the Trump administration continues to reshape the U.S. immigration landscape, misinformation is spreading across social media, fueling anxiety through misleading or exaggerated claims.

That’s why finding ways to spot fake news is always important. Developing a sense of when something seems suspicious and consistently checking the original source of information you see online is key. We found six social media creators who are getting immigration news right.

These accounts are managed by lawyers who can provide trustworthy information on visas, asylum, and legal rights. Beyond simply debunking myths, these influencers empower individuals with practical and accessible advice, helping them confidently navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. Especially while access to pro-bono lawyers is at an all-time high demand.
