Austin Kocher

Austin Kocher untangles the data behind the US immigration enforcement system that touches millions of lives in New York City and across the country. His investigations of the ideas, laws, and practices behind deportation bridge scholarly research and public understanding, helping people make sense of an impenetrable system. He is a research fellow at American University's Center for Latin American and Latino Studies, President of Relevant Research, and writes at austinkocher.substack.com.
